What happens when two women who love reading and writing YA become friends? They have a crazy idea: like starting a podcast. And that's how Exploring the Blank Page was created. We talk more about this in our first episode, but for now you can read more about us below.

Christen Krumm
Christen is the author of It Happened at Christmas, a mom of three wildings, and wife to a real-life superhero. Coffee is her lifeblood, books are her drug, and creating stories is her favorite.
During the day she's a Podcast Producer and Virtual Assistant specializing in Author assistance. She writes young adult fiction (and dabbles in middle-grade fiction) during the margins of life.
Her favorite color is green (or black). She likes big glasses, happy mail, and pretends to like running (she doesn't).

Emilie Hendryx
Emilie is a self-employed freelance writer, photographer, graphic designer, and part-time youth director living in Northern California with her husband. She’s a member of ACFW, writes Young Adult fiction, and spends more time on Instagram than she probably should. With a degree in music and youth ministry, she has heart for youth and a love of genuine social media connections. She has built a thriving community around her Instagram platform and brand CreateExploreRead, with a focus on bookish merchandise sold on Etsy and Society6.
